About this course

A practitioner course for relationship managers and advisers who already hold a client book and want a sharper, more defensible advice process. The programme works through discovery frameworks, risk profiling that survives challenge, portfolio recommendation under suitability rules, and the documentation that has to stand up when a file is reviewed. Two thirds of contact time is spent on live case work rather than lecture.

What you will be able to do

  • Run a discovery conversation that surfaces objectives, constraints and genuine risk tolerance
  • Construct a recommendation that maps every product decision back to a stated client need
  • Document advice so that the rationale is legible to a reviewer two years later
  • Handle the four objections that most often derail a suitability discussion

Who it is for

  • Relationship managers with an existing client book
  • Wealth advisers moving into a more complex client segment
  • Team leads reviewing advice files
