About this course

Conduct failures are usually the product of ordinary incentives, not bad people. This course examines how product design, sales targets, disclosure practice and remuneration combine to produce outcomes, and gives managers a practical framework for spotting drift early. Includes a session on how to run a conduct conversation with a high performer, which is the part most programmes leave out.

What you will be able to do

  • Trace a poor client outcome back to the incentive that produced it
  • Design a control that changes behaviour rather than documenting it
  • Run a conduct conversation with a top performer without losing them
  • Report conduct risk to a board in terms it can act on

Who it is for

  • Team leaders and sales managers
  • Compliance and risk officers
  • Product owners
