About this course
Retirement planning for high net worth clients is rarely a spreadsheet problem. This course covers decumulation sequencing, the interaction between CPF and private assets, business succession where the client is also the owner, and the cross-border complications that arrive with family members in more than one jurisdiction. Delivered as a series of extended case studies with a written recommendation on the second day.
What you will be able to do
- Sequence a decumulation plan that survives a poor first five years of returns
- Map a business succession against the owner's personal retirement needs
- Identify when a cross-border structure needs specialist input, and brief that specialist well
- Present a legacy plan to a family group rather than to an individual
Who it is for
- Senior private bankers and wealth advisers
- Family office staff
- Advisers taking on multi-generational client groups
